Huge triple threat title match being discussed for Summerslam

As reported earlier, Brock Lesnar is apparently set to defend his Universal Title at Summerslam. With the opponent yet to be revealed, the WWE is on the course to tilt towards a triple threat match for the red brand title.

Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley are slated to fight for the No. 1 contender for the Universal title next week on RAW, and as per plans, there might not be a definite winner as both men might head to compete for the title according to Cagesideseats.

Brock Lesnar will head into this year’s Summerslam to defend his title against two of RAW’s alpha stars in the form of Lashley and Reigns, with Mr Monster In The Bank in the horizon as well.

It will be Lashley vs Lesnar at Summerslam but I am not sure Brock Lesnar will put Lashley over. They been building Braun Strowman to be the face of the WWE since WM 34.

  • 1-0 LZZZZZZZ

Lashley will only be in the match to eat the pin from Brawn who will cash in during the match. There’s no way lesnar is eating the pin clean if he is going to fight DC in UFC.

One benefit to the triple threat is that Lesnar never has to get pinned to lose. It will be Reigns or Lashley going over then hopefully Strowman cashing in. Then we will hear Paul Heyman claiming “Lesnar never lost” for the next year and a half….

Oh wow. Didn’t see that one coming a mile away. Brock will lose the title and exit the company. Then Reigns and Lashley can continue their feud, but now it will be over the Universal title. Sigh.

  • The Right Way

Here’s the only Universal title match that should be at SummerSlam and how it should be booked: Lashely vs Lesnar, Lashley over in less than fifteen minutes. Anything else is pathetic. You can have Strowman come down afterwards and cash in, I don’t care. No triple threat. No Lesnar retaining. No Reigns winning and then Strowman cashes in. No Reigns winning. No Reigns in the main event. Period.

Brock wins at the PPV and drops the belt on RAW the next night after a beat down and Brawn cashing in. Brock continues to look invincible and they get the belt off him.

  • ROB-1.

I would hope they give the title to Monster in the bank.

We really do not need to see Reigns vs Lashley again, yet as soon as they announced who was in that tournament, you knew exactly who would be the finalists.

I don’t really care for Lashley but would rather see him face Lesnar alone, as I, like so many fans, do not want to see yet another Lesnar vs Reigns match.

Of course, WWE wants Reigns in the match, so yeah, triple threat looks most likely.
