Hulk Hogan Drops Chris Benoit Murder Bombshell

Hulk Hogan discussed Chris Benoit on Impaulsive.

Hulk Hogan and Chris Benoit were two of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling, with storied careers that intersected in both WCW and WWE.

Hulk Hogan, widely regarded as one of wrestling’s biggest stars, made a name for himself in the WWF (now WWE) in the 1980s with his larger-than-life persona and popularity during the “Hulkamania” era. In 1994, Hogan made the jump to WCW, becoming a key player in the promotion’s success during the Monday Night Wars. Hogan’s role in the New World Order (nWo) faction helped WCW dominate ratings against WWE during the mid-90s.

Chris Benoit, known for his technical prowess and hard-hitting style, was a central figure in WCW’s cruiserweight division and later moved to the main event scene. Despite his wrestling talents, Benoit often found himself overshadowed by WCW’s reliance on big-name stars like Hogan. In 2000, Benoit left WCW due to creative frustrations, eventually joining WWE.

In WWE, Benoit achieved success, winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX in 2004. Hogan, who returned to WWE in 2002, maintained his legendary status, although their paths didn’t often cross in WWE. Both men’s legacies remain complicated, with Benoit’s later life overshadowed by tragedy.
