WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has had a legendary career but ‘The Hulkster’ has claimed that fellow WWE legend Bret Hart blames him for his career downfall.
On the other hand, Bret Hart has often created controversy with his outspoken views. Hart has made it clear that he’s simply sharing his opinions and understands that not everyone will agree with him.
Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Hulk Hogan claimed that ‘The Hitman’ hated everyone. Hogan further claimed that Bret Hart blamed him for ruining his career. He recalls their early days in the business, mentioning how they started together in Atlanta when Hogan was around 330 pounds.
Despite Hulk Hogan’s appreciation for Bret Hart and his acknowledgment of Bret’s contributions to wrestling, Hogan feels that Bret Hart holds onto a lot of negativity and holds others, including Hogan, Ric Flair, and Vince McMahon, responsible for his problems. Hogan suggests that Bret Hart’s fixation on past grievances only brings more negativity and believes it’s time for a more positive perspective.
“Bret hates everybody. If it’s not me, it’s Flair, it’s Vince. You know, ‘I’ll never work for Vince again after what happened to my family,’ and then he’s back. It just never ends with him. And I love Bret to death, man. I started with Bret. I remember when I was in Atlanta, I was in the business for about three years, and I was like 330 pounds, almost 340, all natural. Anyway, I remember Bret used to live across the hall from me when I was working for Channel 17—what was it, Crockett Promotions? I was so big, they’d have me wrestle three guys at once. I’d pick all three of them up in a bear hug and just ragdoll them. Bret was one of them, you know, and I’d throw him down. But we were all just getting started, so it was all fun.
But then we got rolling, and he just—man, he says I destroyed his career. It’s like, okay, all right, whatever. I just don’t get it, man, ’cause I love him to death. He’s a good guy, and he was a great asset to the business.
You know, similar [bitter] vibes and similar energy—like attracts like. So when you talk that way, you attract more of that hatred and negativity. And it’s just not good, man. It’s time to switch up and be positive and happy and love people.”
