Hulk Hogan Reveals The Rock WrestleMania Return Photo

‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan took to social media via Twitter to compare this year’s Super Bowl matchup between Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to his classic WrestleMania 18 return matchup against The Rock. This year’s Super Bowl airs February 7th on CBS and the NFL Network.

Hogan also commented on the death anniversary of long time adversary and friend Andre the Giant. The Hulkster tweeted out: “28yrs ago Andre passed,my big brother,he taught me respect for our business and also taught me how to work using my instincts and my connection with the crowd. His timing was perfect and made me understand the greatest matches are the ones that u don’t talk about beforehandRIPHH”

In other news concerning Hulk Hogan, on a recent edition of the 83 Weeks podcast, former WCW Executive Eric Bischoff discussed the relationship that Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon have. Bischoff told Conrad Thompson the following. Credit to Wrestling Inc for the transcription:

“Hulk and Vince, they’re like the most dysfunctional married couple in the world,” Bischoff said. “To this day, look up love/hate relationships and those are the two names that are going to pop up. Even when Hulk was with WCW, he would tell me if he had a conversation with Vince. We were in Denver one night and he said he was going to meet Vince for a drink in his hotel room. I was aware and I was also very much aware that Hulk was a master negotiator, he loved to keep his options open, he loved to have his leverage.

Bischoff also said:

“By that point, Hulk and I became pretty good friends, beyond just work friends. Just based on the conversations he and I had, real casual conversations, the things he said led me to believe there was no way he was going to leave the relatively comfortable environment in WCW and jump back into the shark pool that was WWE. I was aware they were speaking but I really wasn’t concerned.”
