Impact Official on Enzo Amore possibly joining the company

Enzo Amore

We noted before how former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was cleared of all charges against him and Enzo said that he will be returning to the entertainment business.

While a WWE return looks very unlikely, many believe that following the path of many other former WWE stars, Amore could head to Impact Wrestling in future.

During a recent media call, Impact co-executive vice president Don Callis was asked about the former Champion possibly joining the company and he said never say never:

“I guess you say never say never, and you evaluate talent based on need and what you’re looking to do,We have a long-term plan for how we engage with talent in terms of who’s gonna be on the roster, what roster spots we need filled, etc. It’s not as much of a random thing. So as with any other talent, time will tell.”

While this answer does not specifically reveal anything about Amore’s future, it doesn’t kill any possibilities either. So it’s very much possible that Enzo could make his Impact debut sometime soon, similar to another former Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann.

They have a long term plan yet just signed Rich Swann …. can’t be that long term considering how recent his future endeavour was.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

So what Kurt Angle told Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn was true TNA will hire anybody right now. To bad nobody will care.

  • That’s Gold, Jerry

Enzo and Swan can team as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” as in don’t ask why they aren’t in WWE anymore and they won’t tell you.

“We have a long-term plan” Sir I beg to differ. 😛
