Another top company rumored to be after Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose didn’t take long to jump back into the world of professional wrestling. Last week, he posted a new video on Twitter where he returned to his old hardcore gimmick Jon Moxley.

While we don’t know where Moxley will end up, there are a few strong contenders who could snatch him up quickly. Until we hear something from the man himself, it’s all speculation, really. Still, companies like Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling are the two most likely candidates.

ROH continues to grow, and there’s been a changing of the guard there over the past several months. With the Bullet Club and several other stars leaving, they could use a big name like him.

Most fans, though, expect to see him join All Elite Wrestling, which will debut with their first official PPV, Double or Nothing, on May 25th. There were several hints in Moxley’s video which could have teased a deal between the two parties.

However, now it seems that a third major company has tossed their hat into the ring. According to Joe Peisich of Barnburner Radio, Impact Wrestling is now a strong contender, and could very well be the next home of Jon Moxley.

There are rumors going around and everybody thinks that Dean Ambrose is going to sign with All Elite Wrestling. That still may happen, but he may sign with Impact Wrestling. I heard that as late as today.

It’s unknown where he’ll end up at this point, but even if Impact was vying for him, it’s hard to believe that Moxley would pass up the opportunity to work with AEW, considering they’d give him the creative freedom he’s been looking for and some of the best talents in the world to work with.

It’s also a possibility that he doesn’t join with a major company so soon after leaving WWE and uses the next few months to work the indies.
