Impact Wrestling to replace Smackdown Live’s timeslot

Impact Wrestling’s parent company Anthem Sports recently acquired majority ownership in AXS TV. Now Impact Wrestling will be shifting from Friday nights.

With Smackdown Live moving to Friday nights from next month, it seems that Impact Wrestling will be taking Smackdown Live’s old timeslot.

As confirmed by The Wrap, Impact Wrestling will begin airing on Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM starting on October 29. Impact’s Bound For Glory event will take place on October 20th with a “This Is Impact!” special on Tuesday, October 22nd.

“This Is Impact!” will include “profiles on Impact Wrestling’s biggest stars and exclusive non-televised matches from ‘Bound for Glory,’” according to the AXS TV announcement.
