WWE always tries to sign more talented wrestlers from the indie circuit to the Performance Center. Now they have signed a top female talent.
According to a report by So Cal Uncensored, Mercedes Martinez has signed with WWE. She is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center later this month.
Mercedes has been competing in the independent circuit for the past twenty years. She made her debut in November 2000. She has worked in several indie promotions, which include the likes of Women’s Superstars Uncensored, World Xtreme Wrestling, Shine, and Shimmer. She has also made a couple of appearances in the Mae Young Classic tournament. She has also won the Shimmer Championship twice.
Martinez has also appeared on AEW, but ultimately she went with WWE. She will no doubt be a valuable asset to WWE.
