Injured Superstars might return at Royal Rumble

WWE has a few Superstars who have been absent from WWE television for a long time. Velveteen Dream has been absent since NXT made its debut on the USA Network. He is suffering from a back injury, but he might be returning soon.

According to a report by PW Insider, they were told by  “multiple sources” that Jinder Mahal and Velveteen Dream will be returning at the Royal Rumble.

PWInsider.com has been told by multiple sources that NXT star The Velveteen Dream (who has been off TV with a back issue, but has been at all NXT TV tapings and the Performance Center regularly) and Jinder Mahal (who has been out since last year with a torn ACL) are slated to be in Houston, Texas for Royal Rumble weekend.

It was noted that they are going to be in Texas for the Royal Rumble. However, that does not mean they will be competing in any match, but it is a possibility.

It was also not confirmed whether Velveteen Dream appearing in the Royal Rumble match meant he will be called up to the main roster.
