Injury update on Sami Zayn and Ruby Riott

We noted before how Sami Zayn suffered an injury in Montreal on August 5th, 2017 and a later evaluation revealed that both his shoulders required surgery for a torn rotator cuff.

He underwent a surgery to repair his right shoulder last month and according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former NXT Champion will be undergoing another surgery soon.

According to the latest update, the Raw Star will be out for the rest of 2018 and he hopes to be back in time to start the build for his WrestleMania 35 match.

Another star who recently suffered injury is the Riott Squad leader Ruby Riott who suffered the sprained left MCL on June 29th in Rapid City, North Dakota while competing in a match against Dana Brooke.

We noted before how she underwent an MRI this past week and according to report, she is scheduled to be evaluated again on Monday, July 30th.

No timeframe on her in-ring return yet but the Observer repeats the previous report saying that she is not expected to stay out for very long and should be back within a month or two.
