Dave Meltzer has confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bray Wyatt did in fact sprain his ankle in his Tuesday night SmackDown Live match against Dolph Ziggler. As of Wednesday morning Wyatt planned to still wrestle at this weekend’s live event shows, however, if he does miss this weekend’s matches it could be an indication that the injury is more serious than we think. Meltzer also reported that WWE officials advised Wyatt to stop the match, but he refused.
Paige is also reportedly dealing with a back and shoulder injury, and is expected to miss two weeks or more. Meltzer reported that the injuries are not believed to be serious ones.
Jimmy Uso is also suffering from an undisclosed injury and was expected to return Tuesday night, but that was not the case. A return date for Uso is not yet known.
