Interesting detail regarding AEW’s win/loss record

AEW is currently gaining momentum and has been dominant consistently in the Wednesday Night Wars. They promised to be an alternative to WWE and they are doing just that. This includes the win/loss record that matters more in the company, the same way it does for sports. Apparently, the win/loss records will also be reset just like in football season.

A fan on Twitter asked the problems that AEW might face in the future regarding the win/loss records. Nick Jackson would then give a short reply that made it clear what the company will do. He simply said, “It’ll reset.”

We will get to know in due time when AEW plans on resetting the records for all of its competitors.

Exactly. Or the opposite problem of having a guy who’s 27-4 getting 6 title shots before a new signing gets one, because it’ll take him half a year to catch up to 27 wins.

They have to have some sort of reset every six months to a year. Otherwise you’ll end up with some guys being 23-8 and new guys being 3-0 and the guy with the 3-0 record getting a title shot because he has the better percentage.

Everything on the Dirt sheet has been nothing but lies when it comes to AEW. I don’t blame AEW I blame the Dirt sheet they don’t really know what they talk about when it comes to Pro Wrestling it why I come less and less to these sites it only for pure laughter.

“Gaining momentum and has been dominant”? Have you been watching the ratings? They have lost viewers every single week since they premiered with the exception of the rebound after the world series, but even that number was lower than their debut. They only narrowly beat out NXT last, a show that can be viewed on the network the following day. I like the show fine enough, but it is a flat out lie to say they have been gaining momentum or been dominant.

BUT … will stipulations , like Cody no longer challenging for championship, reset also ?

  • Keith Learmonth

I assume it’ll be a yearly reset, along with a yearly influx of new talent/release of old talent.
