Is Brock Lesnar Taking Over The Bloodline?

WWE has built quite a reputation for pulling off some bizarre swerves on fans. Sometimes the company comes up with out-of-the-box decisions which might not be logical. What if Brock Lesnar takes over The Bloodline?

Brock Lesnar and The Bloodline

The Bloodline remains to be one of the dominating factions in recent history. Led by the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, the faction comprises of The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and ‘The Wiseman’ Paul Heyman. While Paul Heyman has been the driving force behind The Bloodline for almost three years there is a possibility that his relationship with ‘The Tribal Chief’ could come to an end. The cracks in the faction can’t be ignored and some fans believe that the faction might explode.

With Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens dethroning The Usos and winning the Undisputed WWE Tag-Team Championships, many thought that the downfall of The Bloodline had begun. However, Reigns made sure that he holds onto the title and keep the faction intact after defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.

There have been instances in the past where Paul Heyman was thought to be joining forces with his former ‘client’ Brock Lesnar. But WWE never went ahead in that direction. Heyman has been dropping cryptic promos and mentioning ‘The Beast Incarnate’ which indicated that there might be a storyline with Lesnar in the future.

WWE might come with the likely alliance of Lesnar and Reigns, similar to what they did with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Triple H in the past. The so-called Two Man Power Trip caused havoc on WWE programming back in the day. The Cerebral Assassin and the Texas Rattlesnake had a short run but had some great feuds with Team Extreme and the Brothers of Destruction.

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns’ potential alliance could be illogical

At present, Cody Rhodes is involved in a feud with Lesnar but he won’t back off from attempting to win the title that Reigns hold. Lesnar and Reigns are two of the biggest stars in the company and ideally fans wouldn’t want them to join forces.

Brock Lesnar recently came out as the mystery partner of Cody Rhodes at the start of WWE RAW after WrestleMania 39 in what many assumed would be the main event match against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. However, that match never even started.

Before the match could even start, the fans were left shocked with the developments. Cody Rhodes was ready to face Reigns but was not prepared when Lesnar suddenly hit him with the F5. This was followed by another as the beatdown continued. He threw Rhodes out and beat him up there, destroying him in the ringside area. He even put him through the commentary table with another F5.

However, just as the personnel started to treat him, Brock Lesnar then turned back yet again, throwing his gloves off as he was about to rush to the WWE ring. He then got a signal from an official and stayed away, realizing that the time for the show had run out. Instead, he cursed into the camera and flipped off the camera, and then quickly turned it toward Cody Rhodes. It is not known if it was the plan of The Bloodline and Paul Heyman all along.

Lesnar is set to appear on the April 17th edition of Monday Night RAW to explain his actions. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ will answer Cody Rhodes’ Backlash challenge.

WWE Backlash is set to take place on May 6 at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Only time will tell what WWE is planning with Brock Lesnar and The Bloodline.
