Is John Cena Quitting WWE After Smackdown Match?

WWE star John Cena had made a huge return to the company in the final minutes of Money In The Bank and went on to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam but was unsuccessful. It turns out he has made his last scheduled WWE appearance at Madison Square Garden. However, it seems as if he isn’t quitting WWE, and will return around WrestleMania season, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports.

John Cena appeared after SmackDown went off-air

Cena made an appearance at Madison Square Garden after WWE SmackDown went off the air. Cena was initially advertised to show up on the Super SmackDown show this Friday and reports stated that he would team up with The Street Profits to face The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match. However, when The Street Profits came out on TV for a title match against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, fans were left confused by the absence of Cena. But Cena did indeed show up after the show went off-air.

Cena had teamed up with Rey & Dominik Mysterio to take on The Bloodline. Cena and the Mysterios were victorious against the team of Roman Reigns and The Usos and it has been quite a routine for Cena’s off-air programming.
