John Cena, a WWE Superstar, is known for his incredible mic skills and ability to cut a fiery promo. In his most recent rivalry with Austin Theory, Cena brought his A-game to the microphone to hype their WrestleMania match. However, before the match, Theory received a warning about what to expect from Cena’s words.

During the RAW promo, Cena rejected Theory’s challenge for WrestleMania and spoke candidly about how Theory had yet to prove himself, stating that he was just a “theory.” These words hit home for Theory, and they ultimately drove him to pick up a victory over Cena at WrestleMania.

“Yeah, you know, Miz, Baron Corbin, sounds like all the bad guys (are who told me to be ready for my in-ring segment with John Cena). They’re just like, ‘Man, just be ready. You’re gonna get thrown out there in some deep water. Just be prepared’ but, you know, I had my cool sneakers on and my shades that he talked trash about and I was feeling good. I was like, I came out here with one thing in mind and I got it. So, you know, telling me people don’t believe in me, alright John. I’m gonna make you believe. I’m gonna make them all stop believing in you.”

Given Cena’s reputation for cutting brutal promos, other WWE Superstars, such as The Miz and Baron Corbin, warned Theory to be ready for what John might say to him in the ring. Nevertheless, Theory arrived at the match in high spirits, wearing cool sneakers and shades that Cena had previously mocked. Theory used every moment in the ring with Cena to his advantage, and he triumphed over the veteran WWE Superstar, which was a significant accomplishment.

Although it is unclear when Cena will return to the ring, Theory is a full-time WWE Superstar who capitalized on his opportunity to compete against Cena. In the end, Theory’s victory over Cena was a massive achievement and added a feather to his cap in the WWE.
