WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently talked about her shocking return to the company. She is set to make her in-ring return at WrestleMania 39 and she has talked about the same.
Trish Stratus is not planning a lengthy return
While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Trish Stratus opened up about her return to WWE. She was asked about the possibility that fans will see her wrestle more than once. It seems that she isn’t planning on a lengthy return at this moment.
“I mean, for now, let’s get to WrestleMania and see what’s gonna happen. It’s a big, you know, departure…I’m judging for Canada’s Got Talent as you know. My businesses and my babies. It’s only been a couple of weeks on the road, I’m like, ‘woo, yeah, okay.’ It’s quite the balance. I got child care in place so there’s all these things to consider.”
“I have to go train at night time. When I put my kids to bed, I go train from 9 till midnight so, it’s all these things to consider. It’s definitely not a full-time job. I can’t do this as a full-time job right now because there’s other jobs as well but I mean, let’s get to WrestleMania and see what happens.”
Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Lita recently won the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships. They defeated IYO SKY and Dakota Kai in the main event on this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.
Damage CTRL leader Bayley had been distracting Lynch and Lita in the title match. She tried to assist her team in retaining the gold. At one point ‘The Role Model’ used one of the title belts to distract the referee and pulled Lita from the apron to stop her from tagging in.
However, in the closing moments, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a shocking return. She attacked Bayley to even the odds as ‘Big Time Becks’ locked in the Disarm-Her on Dakota Kai. This helped Lita to get the opening to hit the Lita-Sault on SKY for the pinfall victory. Stratus, Lita and Lynch celebrated together in the ring as the show went off-air.
Becky Lynch, Lita, and Stratus will now team up to face Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania 39.
