A video captured Ivanka striding out of the restaurant with a smile, which instantly disappeared upon spotting the awaiting paparazzi. As she headed towards her waiting car, she was directly asked if she was scared to testify, to which she did not respond, merely sliding into the vehicle before the door closed behind her.
Ivanka has been ordered to testify at her father’s ongoing civil fraud trial but has recently attempted to avoid it, citing that she is no longer listed as a defendant and no longer resides in New York. Her legal team has filed a request to excuse her from testifying, but a ruling on the matter is pending.
