According to Radar Online, Ivanka Trump reportedly made a secret trip to Hawaii to assist the community of Maui shortly before her father, former President Donald Trump, faced arrest in Georgia. The former first daughter’s humanitarian mission involved distributing essential supplies such as food, water, local produce, gift cards, and more to locals affected by deadly wildfires.
Ivanka collaborated with CityServe International during this mission, wearing an “Iva” name tag as she lent her support to the residents in need. The humanitarian effort also included plans for a Boeing 747 loaded with $1 million worth of supplies, including ebikes, electric scooters, electronics, toys, dry foods, small appliances, ukuleles, and Jockey clothing. This large-scale effort was facilitated, in part, due to Ivanka’s connection with the organization.
During the mission, 250,000 prepackaged meals were distributed to displaced families, a response to the ongoing crisis in Maui, where approximately 6,000 residents were still accommodated in hotels, and another 1,100 were in Airbnb rentals. The cleanup and recovery efforts in Maui were estimated to cost over $5.5 billion and were expected to take years to complete.
Ivanka’s visit to Hawaii coincided with her father’s voluntary surrender for arrest at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia, where he faced state charges related to his alleged involvement in efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Donald Trump is currently facing charges in multiple criminal cases, including those stemming from his actions in Georgia, where he pleaded not guilty to 13 counts, including racketeering, fraud, and false statements.
While Ivanka Trump has been supportive of her father’s political endeavors, she has not been actively campaigning for him. Instead, she has focused on charitable work and her role as a parent to her three children with husband Jared Kushner.
There have been suggestions that Tiffany Trump, another of Donald Trump’s daughters, is positioning herself for a more prominent role in the political arena if her father seeks and regains the presidency in the future.
