Ivanka recently paid a visit to the Kfar Aza kibbutz in Israel near the border with Gaza where Hamas terrorists launched its attack on October 7. She was accompanied by her husband, Jared Kushner, on a tour led by Amir Ohana, the Speaker of Israel’s house of representatives.

Ivanka’s visit to Israel comes days after a Colorado court ruled to remove Donald Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot because of his role in the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by his supporters.

Ivanka and Jared Kushner met survivors of the October 7 attack and were shown a compilation of footage taken on that day, said a report by The Times of Israel. A resident of the kibbutz gave Ivanka a dog tag inscribed with “Kfar Aza is home.”

It has been noted that the couple also met representatives from the Israel Defence Forces and women Border Police officers who battled Hamas terrorists along the Gaza border on October 7.

Ivanka and Jared also met rescue service personnel and gifted the first responders and soldiers with commemorative medallions for their life-saving actions.

She also took to her Twitter account and posted several pictures with the following caption:

“As I depart from Israel, my heart fills with a mix of sorrow and hope.

Witnessing the aftermath of the October 7th terrorist attack, I heard heart-wrenching stories from victims, families, soldiers, and first responders. Their strength amid the despair was profoundly moving and the resolve of this resilient and tough people reminds us that even in the darkest times, hope and goodness are ever-present.

As so many rise to help, heal, and rebuild, it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of humanity.

Tonight and every night I pray for the safe return of all hostages and the healing of each victim and of their families.”
