During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, a VIP Room segment took place where it was revealed that Cedric Alexander officially joined MVP’s stable. The Viking Raiders, Ricochet, and Apollo Crews ran down to the ring for a brawl which ended up in an eight-man tag team match.
However, an unfortunate accident took place during the match. Ivar took a scary dive to the outside and then threw up the dreaded X sign on himself. He did not return to the match and was surrounded by WWE’s medical staff after the match ended.
According to a report by PW Insider, the belief is that Ivar suffered a stinger.
The belief amongst those we have spoken to is that he likely suffered a stinger executing a dive to the outside during a six man tag team bout on Raw.
WWE then issued an update on his condition, stating that he suffered a cervical injury. He was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
