Therefore, the King of Pro-wrestling saw a gruesome battle between former champions Marty Scurll and KUSHIDA to determine the new IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion.
The outcome of the match saw KUSHIDA become the new champion and kick-start his 6th reign as the champion.
