Jake Paul Quits Boxing After WWE Bombshell?

The YouTuber-turned-pro-boxer Jake Paul has been making headlines and he recently drew the attention of many high-profile stars after his victory over the former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley at Sunday Night’s Shotime PPV in Cleveland, Ohio. ‘The Problem Child’ found out about the Instagram post and took to his Twitter account. He said that he can now announce his retirement after ‘The Great One’ took note of the bout.

Paul wrote:

The Rock posted me on his Instagram I can retire now

In another Tweet, Paul Tweeted that he’s now a “retired boxer,” which could be legit, but he could also troll the fans. On Sunday night’s bout, Paul was scored 77-75 and 78-74 with one judge seeing it 77-75 for Woodley. Thereby, he was awarded the win via split decision.

Paul didn’t agree with the split decision:

“I mean, let’s be honest, that’s bullsh*t. Like, come on. Especially in my hometown, like, where’s that judge at?” Paul said with a smile. “I mean, he hit me with one good shot the whole fight. I don’t know what they were looking at, but it’s all good, I still got the victory. I got eight rounds under my belt.”

As for possibly fighting Tommy Fury next, Paul said:

“We’ll see. I’ve been boxing for 18 months now. I think I might need to chill out for a second and figure out who I am. I’m only 24, I’m changing, I’m growing. I’ll get back in the gym when I’m ready, and we’ll see.”
