Jamie Foxx Daughter Posts Video Of Dad: ‘Baby Steps’

Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corrinne Foxx took to Instagram and uploaded a video where her father could be seen learning how to use a laptop.

She wrote on Instagram, “First he’s learning how to sync his phone with his #IntelEvo laptop, next thing you know he’ll be editing photos all by himself. Baby steps, @iamjamiefoxx. Baby steps. #ProudDaughter.”

While it has been confirmed by Mike Tyson himself that Jamie Foxx experienced a health scare that is likely a stroke, there has been no official statement from Foxx’s family regarding the matter. However, Tyson did confirm in the same interview that Foxx is still set to portray him in a movie or limited series about Tyson’s life, indicating that Foxx is on the path to recovery and will continue his successful artistic career.

Tyson expressed his dissatisfaction with Hulu for creating a series about his life without his permission, criticizing it as “bullshit” and feeling that they did him wrong by using his name and image without consent.

The portrayal of Mike Tyson by Jamie Foxx has gone through various stages of development over the years. Initially, it was envisioned as a Martin Scorsese-directed film, but that plan fell through, leading to the project evolving into an Antoine Fuqua-directed limited series. As far as Tyson knows, the latest iteration is the one that is currently in the works. However, there is an issue to address—Jamie Foxx is already over 50 years old, and time is passing. The solution, as revealed by Tyson, is to use techniques similar to those employed in films like “The Irishman” or “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” to make Foxx appear younger. This approach would require Foxx’s complete recovery before filming could commence.

It remains to be seen how the creative team, particularly director Antoine Fuqua, will handle the age difference between Foxx and Tyson. However, Tyson’s mention of utilizing techniques to make Foxx appear younger suggests that they are exploring options to address this challenge.
