In the past, Jamie Foxx has dated a number of A-listers throughout his decorated acting career. However, none of them were as special to him as Batman Begins star Katie Holmes.
The actress, who was previously married to Tom Cruise for 6 years before calling it quits back in 2012, dated the Django Unchained actor for around six years, eventually parting ways back in 2019.
But unlike Katie Holmes, who seems to have moved on, it appears Foxx is reportedly adamant about getting back into the actress’ life after he recently recovered from a critical medical complication.
Back in April, Jamie Foxx was hospitalized following undisclosed medical concerns which threatened the actor’s life. With a source stating the Day Shift star “is very lucky to be alive!” it seems the 55-year-old isn’t going to take his second chance at life for granted.
One source claimed the actor is adamant about rekindling romance with Katie Holmes, as he deeply regrets parting ways with her, stating none of his other bonds “came close to matching what he had with Katie”. The source continued,
“Their chemistry was off the charts. It was a romance born of passion but became so much more. In hindsight, Jamie can’t believe he let her slip through his fingers. He knows and respects that she’s moved on, but if she were open to taking him back, that would be the dream scenario!”
