“They Cloned Tyrone” is described as a pulpy mystery caper with a series of eerie events that lead an unlikely trio on the trail of a nefarious government experiment. The film is said to be a blend of the humor seen in “Friday” and the socio-political themes explored in “Get Out.”
Directed by Juel Taylor, the movie marks his feature directorial debut, and he also co-wrote the screenplay with Tony Rettenmaier.
