Jason Momoa Reveals If He’s Fired From Aquaman 3

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman has been one of the movies whose future has been up in the air due to the restructuring of DC Universe. Despite the success of the first film the second film took its time to be shot and announced. Even then there is no finality as to how long will Aquaman survive James Gunn and Peter Safran’s axe.

Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom is set to hit the theatres in December, and the actor contemplates the slippery slope. There has been concern regarding it’s future.

Jason Momoa opens up on the matter

In a recent interview, Jason Momoa revealed what the future of Aquaman looks like in DC Universe. He almost gloated that there is no worry as Aquaman is here to stay,

“Peter [Safran]’s my producer [on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom], and is a dear friend. I absolutely think Aquaman will be involved in the DCU. It’s on, bro – there’s no one bigger than Aquaman! But, also, I hope people are excited to see the new one.”

He continues:

“It’s fun. I really enjoy doing comedy. There’s some really funny stuff with Patrick Wilson. I really adore him. We had a great time working together. It’s like we’re brothers. There’s a lot of cool stuff happening in this one.”

Aquaman’s future was in grave danger also due to their leading lady being one of the most hated women on the internet and public media. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s trial had created a buzz.

The trial has been grabbing the headlines for quite some time now and according to reports, the famous Hollywood actor filed a $50 million defamation suit against his ex-wife for a column she wrote for The Washington Post. She further accused the Pirates of the Caribbean actor of domestic violence. The actress filed a countersuit for $100 million against Depp in response. It was also noted that WWE legend might be involved in the case as well.

During the trial, it was noted that Amber Heard reportedly defecated on The Pirates of the Caribbean star’s bed. According to Heard, it was a practical joke gone wrong. There were also many other reasons presented by her and her team as to where the feces came from.
