At an ROH TV taping in Fairfax, veteran Jay Lethal became the new ROH World Champion. Lethal captured the belt in a fatal four-way match between himself, former champion Dalton Castle, Cody and Matt Taven.
This will be Lethal’s second run with the ROH World Title. With this victory, Lethal became only the fourth man to have had the honour of holding this title on multiple occasions. The other three Superstars who have held the belt on multiple occasions are Adam Cole (3), Austin Aries (2) and Jay Briscoe (2).
