JBL reportedly expected to go into WWE Hall of Fame this year

We reported earlier that legendary Superstar Davey Boy Smith aka the British Bulldog is expected to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Now, Raj Giri of WrestlingInc reports that former WWE Champion JBL is also expected to go into the Hall of Fame this year.

JBL has had his fair share of success in the company, having held the record for being the longest-reigning WWE Champion in SmackDown history until AJ Styles broke it a few years ago.

He is also well-known for his time in APA alongside WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons. He retired from in-ring competition in 2009 and soon found himself at the announcing desk as one of the lead commentators in the company alongside Michael Cole.

However, JBL left the company in 2017 to focus on some of his international humanitarian projects and campaigns. His last appearance for the company was at 2018’s Tribute to the Troops event.
