Jeff Hardy suffered a knee injury on April 20th, 2019. He has been on the shelf since then undergoing rehabilitation and dealing with personal issues. It seems he might be making a WWE return sooner than expected if a report is to be believed.
According to a report by PW Insider, at this week’s Friday Night Smackdown, he was present backstage. No other details regarding his appearance were provided.
Jeff Hardy has a court date to attend to, owing to his DUI which he received during his time away from WWE television.
Matt Hardy’s contract expires on March 1st and it is not known whether he will be staying with WWE. However, Jeff’s contract is frozen until he returns.
