Jeff Hardy is still one of the most popular pro wrestlers to have graced the squared circle, having competed in promotions such as WWE, ROH and TNA Wrestling. Fans are certainly well aware of his history of substance abuse issues and the personal demons he had to face. Jeff Hardy’s AEW debut tease was also revealed.
He is also part of The Hardy Boyz alongside his brother Matt Hardy. The two are currently in different pro wrestling companies but that does not mean they will not be working together again in the future.
Jeff and Matt Hardy also feuded with each other during the first few months of 2009, where Matt turned on Jeff and cost him the WWE Championship against Edge at the Royal Rumble in 2009. Jeff and Matt eventually faced each other at WrestleMania 25 in an Extreme Rules match. Matt Hardy would end up becoming the winner.
Jeff Hardy recently spoke on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, where the former WWE Champion revealed he was very frustrated and angry after their WrestleMania 25 match.
“Vince McMahon and I ended up having a conversation after that. I think he sort of liked that he saw how mad I was, because I was throwing stuff, ‘I cannot believe we were not able to do that stuff we wanted to do.’ We did a lot, more than enough, but it was still. The passion within me really ignited that night after the match. I was genuinely upset.”
