Jeff Hardy Unable To Perform For AEW

AEW recently held Double or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday and dished out a great show for the fans. The talents showased some spectacular performances and it took a toll on them, and seemingly more than usual on Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole. They were both pulled from a big advertised match this week.

Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole were removed from Dynamite

AEW announced a ten-man tag team match for this week’s “Dynamite” featuring AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, Christian and The Hardys vs. Undisputed Elite (Young Bucks, Adam Cole and reDragon). However, it has now been changed to an eight-man tag-team match, with Cole and Jeff removed from the match.

See the fallout from #AEWDoN as a huge 8-man tag match is set for #AEWDynamite THIS WEDNESDAY at 8/7c LIVE on TBS, as #AEW World Tag Team Champs @boy_myth_legend/@luchasaurus team w/ @Christian4Peeps/@MATTHARDYBRAND to face the @youngbucks & #reDRagon (@theBobbyFish/@KORcombat)!

It’s unknown why Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole were taken out of the match. It stands to reason that if one of the two of them is injured then it’s likely Hardy considering how slowly he was moving at Double or Nothing. It should also be noted that Matt Hardy was on his Twitch stream today and he did not indicate that anything was wrong with his brother.

No other matches have officially been announced for Wednesday’s show. However, Dante Martin did challenge TNT Champion Scorpio Sky to a match at Sunday’s Double or Nothing. The match could take place on either “Dynamite” or “Rampage” this week.
