Jerry Lawler recently joined the “This Is Awesome Wrestling Show” podcast with hosts, Glenn Moore and Steve Guy. Below are some of the highlights:
* He said he and the announce team didn’t know The Rock was appearing on Raw and how they thought when his music hit, it was going to be the Big Show coming out dressed as The Rock. Lawler mentioned how The Rock is still relevant.
* “Never Say Never” was his response to John Cena potentially turning heel.
* On the crowd at Raw in Brooklyn, he says when the crowd started chanting “This is Stupid”, he was thinking the same thing.
