Jim Ross Humiliating AEW Revolution Botch Revealed

Jim Ross botched the introduction to AEW Revolution in Orlando on PPV, saying, “We’re live in…where are we Tony?” Tony Schiavone responded, “We’re in Orlando!”

AEW star Bryan Danielson (formerly Daniel Bryan) recently revealed having a conversation with WWE Chairman about his departure. Bryan’s contract with WWE came to end in last April and he went on to sign with AEW. He made his debut at the All Out event in September. It has been noted that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is not a fan of the display of bloody content for the matches. WWE went to a PG product in 2008 and there has been a no-blood policy that disallows wrestlers to blade. However, over the years, top stars have been able to get “color” whether it’s from blading or being cut open the hard way.

Bryan Danielson reveals why he left WWE

During an interview with Wrestling Observer Radio, Danielson recalled McMahon asking him why he wanted to leave to go to AEW. ‘The American Dragon’ revealed that he has a lot of respect for Vince McMahon as they grew close over the years. WWE Chairman saw him as a top star of the company and he had been ‘pushed’ for many titles during his run at the company. However, his one idea was turned down by Vince McMahon which led to Bryan parting ways with the company.

Bryan had stated that upon his departure from WWE, he would be able to wrestle some fresh faces and also mentioned how he wanted to bleed again in matches that was denied by his former boss.

Here is what he said:

“Two things that aren’t related at all would be – I would be able to spend more time at home with my family and that I would also be able to bleed. I don’t like to divulge my conversations with Vince at all because I know he’s a very private person. But I will say this, one of the things….when I finally made my decision I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m set on this decision’, and he was kind of asking me why [leaving WWE for AEW] and I said, ‘You know, there’s part of me too that just wants to be able to bleed’ and he immediately said, ‘Well, I’m sorry I’ll never be able to give you that.’ So yeah, it’s not like I want to do it all the time. There’s something, I don’t know, incredibly life-affirming about it, as strange as that sounds.”

Bryan Danielson is set to face Jon Moxley at tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view.
