Jim Ross not closing door on return to WWE

Jim Ross’ WWE contract expired and he signed a three-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. The deal is said to be the best deal in pro wrestling history for a commentator.

While JR might be working for AEW for three years, for now, anything is possible in professional wrestling. Ross spoke to TMZ, where he said he isn’t closing the door on a WWE return.

“I think when you’re in the entertainment business and you’re proverbially on your back nine of life you say no to nothing. You say never say never. So I’m committed for three years to AEW and hopefully for longer. I’m not thinking that much far ahead. I’m ready to get to work today.”

Jim Ross will certainly be very busy as he is also starting a new podcast with Conrad Thompson. On top of that, he has his AEW career to work on.

He will give his commentary at AEW’s Doube Or Nothing event on May 25th. We will have to see how the event goes.
