WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section on his website (JRsBarBQ.com). Here are the highlights.
On fans not liking Roman Reigns:
Connecting with a talent sometimes never occurs and for others it comes immediately or over time. If you don’t like him, it’s not a crime. I know he’s doing his best to get there but Roman is green an still evolving with miles to go before he reaches the Promised Land.
On why WWE stopped having photographers at ringside:
I don’t know but it’s seemingly been long ago except for Wrestlemania or so I think. WWE likes to own and control all their own intellectual property.
On Roman Reigns getting over with no credible opponents:
I have no clue. I just watch, at times in amazement, the TV shows like any other fan but great fan favorites will never ‘get over’ unless they have great adversaries. WWE is short on main event level villains and are still on their quest to create new fan favorites.
On submission finishers:
Great finish holds are the one’s that will work on any talent in execution and believability. They also need to be protected and should be able to beat anyone when properly executed. Many finishes have been diluted.
