Jim Ross on if Triple H ever refused to put over a star

Jim Ross not only played a key role in winning the Monday Night Wars for WWE as part of the company’s announce team but he helped the promotion in signing a number of big names during his time as the head of talent relations.

Ross also played an important role in getting Triple H a million-dollar contract during the Attitude Era, and he believes that the stories about The Game being hard to work with are ‘overstated.’

The former WWE star recently talked about the King Of Kings on his Grilling JR Podcast and talking about H’s reputation, Jim Ross claimed that he has never heard about Triple H refusing to do the job for anybody:

“I’ve never heard Triple H refusing to do a job for anybody; he certainly would not tolerate that today if he had talents in NXT or whatever that didn’t want to put somebody over. He wouldn’t go along with it.”

The AEW commentator later explained that sometimes things are overstated and he went on to say that he believed in the former world champion from early on:

“Sometimes those things are overstated. I signed him to his biggest contract. I believed in Triple H from early on. I just don’t know, man, I don’t think that was ever a huge issue. If you didn’t like Triple H or his relationship with Vince and Stephanie, now you’re getting into a whole different area. You’re overanalyzing the personal side of this sh** and it’s unnecessary.”
