WWE wants Naomi to boost SmackDown roster
It was recently noted how she was quietly moved to SmackDown from Monday Night Raw. It was understood that the switch was made due to her relationship with Jimmy Uso and WWE wanting real-life couples to stay on the same brand. According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the move was done in order to bolster up the women’s division on Friday Night Smackdown.
Huge stars like Chelsea Green and Ruby Riott were released recently and the roster only had nine active female WWE Superstars.
Recently, the likes of Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox, and Toni Storm have been called up from NXT, and Zelina Vega returned as well. WWE seems to boost the SmackDown brand with the female talents and we will see how Naomi performs on the brand.
