Jinder Mahal undergoes knee surgery

The world of professional wrestling is a brutal one as superstars put their bodies on the line and this includes them taking bumps. Due to these, there is always the risk of an injury and that is exactly what happened to Jinder Mahal.

Jinder Mahal took to social media and gave an update to fans that he ruptured his patella tendon while wrestling Ali in Denver. So for that, he underwent knee surgery.

On the mend. Ruptured my Patella Tendon in Denver Colorado June 15 in a match against @aliwwe . Happy to say surgery went well, and my knee was better than expected. This comeback is going to be legendary.

An injury such as this usually requires four to six months of recovery time until a performer can make his return to the ring. Thankfully, Mahal already signed a 5-year contract with WWE recently.
