Joaquin Wilde has impressed many throughout his short tenure with NXT. However, the former DJZ revealed today that he had surgery to repair what trainers at the Performance Center called a “freak accident” back in July, keeping him out of action for a few months.
Thankfully, though, Wilde will be back in the ring soon. On Twitter, the NXT Breakout Tournament competitor revealed that he’d be back at work in four weeks.

Wilde’s surgery was done to repair a broken eye socket that he earned training. According to him, he was caught with a stray kick to the face while chain wrestling.
