Joe Rogan Drop Mike Tyson Attack Bombshell

The long-tenured UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts for the first time on the controversial incident involving Mike Tyson. The legendary boxer was entailed in an altercation. A video clip started surfacing on social media where ‘Iron Mike’ was seen repeatedly throwing punches at a man who allegedly vexed him during the flight. According to TMZ Sports, the man in question, Melvin Townsend III, “was extremely intoxicated … and wouldn’t stop provoking the boxer in his seat.”

 


 

Joe Rogan backs Mike Tyson

The UFC commentator backed Tyson, believing the man who got beat up by the boxing legend had it coming. Speaking about the incident on episode #1808 of his podcast with actor Dan Soder, Rogan said:

“That dude was a douchebag and he was annoying one of the baddest motherf***ers that’s walked the face of the Earth. That’s so dumb. That’s not even kicking a beehive. It’s headbutting a beehive.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Tyson claimed that the passenger harassed the boxer and threw a water bottle at him before a physical altercation transpired. It has been also noted that the altercation San Francisco police officers have detained Mike Tyson and the passenger he beat up. A statement issued by the SFPD Airport Bureau read:

“On Wednesday April 20, 2022, at approximately 10:06 p.m., San Francisco Police officers assigned to the SFPD Airport Bureau were dispatched to a physical altercation onboard an airplane located at the Domestic Terminal of the San Francisco International Airport. Officers arrived and detained two subjects that were believed to be involved in the incident. One subject was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. That subject provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation. Both subjects were released … pending further investigation.”
