WWE legend Diamond Dallas Page had joined UFC commentator Joe Rogan on the latter’s podcast. Joe had discussed how Anontio Tarver knocked out the legendary action star Sylvester Stallone and ‘cracking him’ when filming Rocky Balboa in 2006. He noted that they were doing boxing scenes at the time. Rogan further revealed that Stallone has three discs fused together.
Stallone himself took to his Instagram account and posted the clip writing the following in the caption:
Thank you so very much I’m incredibly flattered and have tremendous respect for both of you gentlemen! @joerogan @diamonddallaspage
Meanwhile, in a resurfaced YouTube documentary video about Hogan’s life, the WWE legend shared his memories of the audition for the Rocky 3 movie.
The WWE legend said:
“He goes, ‘Let’s just get in the ring and see how you can move because I want to try to hit you. I want to grab me and stop me and hit me back.’ I’m saying, ‘I don’t know man, are you sure?’ He goes, ‘Yeah get your hands on me and really lay me out. I’m going, ‘Dude, you want me to hit you as hard as I’d hit a wrestler?’
He added:
“He was like, ‘Come on’ and jabbed me back, popped me in the nose and then when he throw another jab, I just reach out and grabbed him as soon as my forearm hit his back his face hit my cowboy boots. Blood was coming out of his teeth and his nose. He goes, ‘That’s it you are great!’”
