Joe Rogan Humiliates Ric Flair In Painful Video

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is one of the greatest stars to step foot inside the squared circle. His ‘Figure 4 Leglock’ is on of the iconic submission holds that has won him several titles in his legendary career. While the fans love it to this day, the long-tenured UFC commentator Joe Rogan is not a fan of ‘The Nature Boy’ doing the move.

Joe Rogan slams Ric Flair’s move

Rogan recently bashed the ‘Figure Four leg lock’ move during episode #1881 of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). Rogan told his guest Rick Rubin that the Figure-Four lock was a really “dumb” move.

Speaking to the Grammy Award-winning producer on the podcast, the commentator stated that WWE legend Ric Flair’s signature move was inefficient as it would invite the threat of an inside heel hook:

“A bunch of [pro] wrestlers got mad at me… [because] I was trying to explain how dumb a figure-four leg lock was because I was like he was literally giving up an inside heel hook.”

The podcaster further went on to explain that an inside heel hook was one of the most dangerous submissions. He elaborated that one will never see an inefficient move such as a Figure-Four leglock used in a jiu-jitsu competition:

“Inside heel hook is one of the most devastating submission techniques because once someone gets it the time you have to tap is so small before your knee gets ripped apart and so, a Figure-four leg lock you’ll never see in a jiu-jitsu competition… It doesn’t work. It’s funny in that regard, you know, you are doing this thing [in pro-wrestling] but this thing in the real world is the worst thing you do.”
