Joe Rogan Loses Huge Jorge Masvidal Money Bet

Joe Rogan lost a $20 bet to Michael Bisping at UFC 272, with Rogan betting that Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington would hug at the end of the fight.

When Covington was dominating near the end before his victory, Rogan admitted he’d lose the bet.

“The way this is ending, I feel like I’m gonna lose 20 bucks.”

He added, “I owe you 20 bucks.”

The pro-boxing legend Mike Tyson recently demanded Deontay Wilder carry on with his fights and take on Anthony Joshua. The legendary boxer wants Wilder not to consider retirement from the sport.

Mike Tyson opens up on Deontay Wilder

The pair have been tipped for a potential heavyweight super-fight since Anthony Joshua joined Wilder as a world champion in 2016. Negotiations have been in progress to book the fight on several occasions between 2017 and 2019. Wilder has since lost to Tyson Fury twice and Anthony Joshua was dethroned by Usyk. With that being said, the possibility to materialize the fight has been fueled up.

Regardless of their defeats, the fans have been eager to witness a battle between the two stars including former undisputed king Tyson. Tyson recently spoke to Club Shay Shay, when he talked about his fellow American who could now retire. ‘Iron Mike’ doesn’t want Wilder to feel demotivated:

“I think Deontay Wilder should fight some other guys. He’ll do good, I just don’t want him to get discouraged. He should be very happy and be ready to fight somebody else right away.”

Regarding AJ as a potential opponent for Wilder, Tyson said:

“I would love to see that fight, yes. They’re gonna be winging. There ain’t gonna be many styles, they’re gonna be winging.”

Tyson was then asked about what would have been the strategy for Wilder to have beaten Fury in their fights. When asked how he’d take on Fury himself, Tyson went on to refer to Steve Cunningham, who dropped Fury on the mat on his US debut in 2013.

He said:

“That would be tough, but there were guys that dropped him that were lighter than me. Who was the gentleman that dropped him? The former cruiserweight champ. He’s not a harder puncher than I am – I’m able to hurt the big guys.”

We will now have to wait and see if Joshua and Wilder go toe-to-toe in the coming days.
