Joe Rogan Reveals The Rock Cheating Accusation

The long-tenured UFC commentator Joe Rogan is also a fitness enthusiast. He has been vocal about fitness and diet. However, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast host’s take on a common gym practice is interesting.

Joe Rogan reveals the practice

Whether its Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone or Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, they have amazing physique to flaunt which they gained after immense hard work in the gym. The 55-year-old agreed with the actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to a certain extent, on his gym etiquette. Both of them hate listening to music while working out or running, with Rogan also revealing what he prefers over music. But Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson is on the opposite side of the spectrum and can’t leave his headphones while doing his duty in the gym.

Ultramarathon runner David Goggins joined the “Fear Factor” host in episode #1212 of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ and discussed how music deafens the senses while doing extreme physical activities, such as lifting weights or running a long distance, and that the way The Rock works out is cheating. In the December 2018 episode, the duo also exchanged their views about how music does not help one stay focused and give their full attention to the activity.

The 55-year-old stated:

“I was telling, but when I first started running, people said,’ Do you run with music’… it’s cheating when you have music on.”

“It’s cheating. You’re cheating. You’re listening to music, but now you’re listening to music all the time. But more than I listen to music, I listen to books.”
