WWE star John Cena made a huge return to the company at Money In The Bank pay-per-view. He had an epic match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal title. He had a great ‘Summer of Cena’. Now it seems his absence has made a mark on the ticket sales as they are going down.
John Cena has seemingly departed

“If ever there was any argument about John Cena, I’m not saying throughout his entire career, but John Cena at this stage going to house shows and being a draw, boy did this year end it, because they were running around everywhere when he was working and they were selling tickets and they were doing very well and now that he’s not there it is has gone from great to so-so and maybe in some cases less than so-so, I mean bad. There are bad ones now.”
Cena had returned at the MSG SmackDown, but he only appeared for the live crowd in a dark match as scheduled. It was the last time the fans have seen him at least as of now.
