Dave Meltzer posted on F4Wonline.com forums about the rumored Total Bellas cancelation: “The show was all about Nikki & John and when the people realized they weren’t going to get married after all, I knew it was in trouble.”
Dave Meltzer also had stated previously that Daniel Bryan was part of the issue as well: “Looks like Total Bellas is over. Birdie and Bryan don’t want to be on camera and Nikki doesn’t want her new son resenting her by being on the show years later.”
This comes at a shock and even further degrades the story of Daniel Bryan staying with WWE as Billi Bhatti had originally said that a huge reason why Bryan would stay with WWE is due to a contract with Total Bellas. This is now thrown out of the window.
The Reddit community had much to say about this as well previously as it pertained to Bryan and Nikki.
One user stated: “As someone who listened to WOR this morning, it was basically: Nikki doesn’t want her son growing up and resenting her because their whole life was in front of a camera. The first part of the sentence “Birdie and Bryan” don’t want to be on camera should be “Brie and Bryan” and they too don’t want Birdie to grow up on TV.”
