John Cena is a 16-time World Champion in WWE and has been the face of the company for over a decade until he shifted to a part-time schedule back in 2017. Many fans have been wanting to see Cena make his return at this year’s WrestleMania. He is also worked with Vin Diesel on Fast and Furious 9. John Cena was also humiliated by Brock Lesnar at his WWE SummerSlam match.
John Cena challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam and despite working his hardest, was unable to beat the Tribal Chief for the title. He has also not been seen on WWE television since the SummerSlam encounter with the Tribal Chief.
The former WWE Champion recently spoke to Ellen DeGeneres, where John Cena revealed that while he is not sure whether he will be there for WrestleMania 38, he made it clear that his pro wrestling career is far from over.
“WrestleMania is usually in late March, early April. I don’t know if I’m going to make it this year. That’s a good conundrum to have because there are a lot of good opportunities coming up, which I would love to take. If all those things line up, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make WrestleMania. I will tell everybody watching, I’m not done with WWE by a long shot. That’s my home, I love it. I was able to go back during the summer for a few months and entertain audiences when they welcomed audiences back to arenas and I’ve far from had my last performance.”
John Cena and Nikki Bella were also in a relationship for several years. They also got engaged at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. Unfortunately, they would eventually break up. They are both with different partners now as well.
