John Cena is a 16 time World Champion in WWE and has been the face of the company for over a decade until he shifted to a part-time schedule back in 2017. Many fans have been wanting to see Cena make his return at this year’s WrestleMania. John Cena also recently dropped a bombshell regarding quitting WWE.
Former WWE Champion The Miz recently spoke to Yahoo Entertainment. Among various topics of discussion, The Miz talked about John Cena making his way to Hollywood and becoming a part-timer in WWE. The Miz was confident that he will be making it big the same way John Cena did.
“When Cena went to Hollywood, he had four or five big movies,” Mizanin said. “He had these parts and was ready to be a main character in movies. Now his career has taken off. I haven’t had those opportunities. I haven’t had big-budget, theatrical-release movies come to me. Right now, Hollywood isn’t calling and I’m trying to kick the door in. I’m doing everything I possibly can for when an opportunity comes in Hollywood, I am fully prepared. That doesn’t mean that I am leaving WWE by any means. I’ve been able to do the things I needed to do to be the biggest star I can.”
