The former 16-time world champion John Cena recently made a tweet indicating that he might be returning to WWE, presumably as soon as this Tuesday.
In the tweet as seen below, Cena noted how he is finishing up a project in Atlanta and stated that a trip back to WWE is long overdue, referring to it as his ‘Home:
Taking a second to regroup and recharge. Finishing up a wonderfully funny project in Atlanta, then a trip back home is long overdue @WWE

What’s worth noticing is that this week’s episode of SmackDown Live will be taped from the Philips Arena, Atlanta and after the latest tweet from Cena, it’s speculated that he may be present in the arena for the show.
If John does join the rest of the SmackDown crew, it’d be interesting to see if he makes his on-screen return too, or if he ends up being a part of a dark segment instead.
