John Cena challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view last year and despite working his hardest, he was unable to beat the Tribal Chief for the title. He has also not been seen on WWE television since the SummerSlam encounter with the Tribal Chief.

John Cena has been rumored to participate in a match at WrestleMania 39 for a long time now. According to Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter, the 16-time World Champion is set to appear on the March 6th, edition of RAW, taking place in his hometown of Boston Massachusetts.

Trish Stratus also also be the surprise guest on tonight’s Ding Dong Hello, but will return in the coming weeks instead. She’ll team with Lita and Becky Lynch against Damage Ctrl at WrestleMania.
